Quick Visit to the Art Institute in Chicago

On Thursdays in my hometown, there’s free admission to the Art Institute if you’re an Illinois resident, you just have to show your state or driver license ID as proof. I’ve been wanting to go back again since my last visit about three weeks ago. There was a lot that I had missed, and I wanted to see what else was there. I have a friend that works not too far away, and had suggested that we go check out the museum during their lunch break. While I was waiting for my friend to arrive, I decided to take some pictures of downtown.

During our visit we were able to catch up, and comment on how interesting the artwork had looked. This time around, we were able to explore more of the museum than I did the last time I was there. I was also able to practice my photography by photographing from both my camera and from my cell phone.  At first I was really shy and nervous about taking pictures around my friend, but after awhile, it wasn’t too bad. My friend didn’t seem to mind, they liked seeing the end result afterwards, they even took some pictures from my camera.

After being there for about forty minutes we decided to get some lunch before we parted ways for the rest of the day. I really enjoyed this visit to the museum, and I look forward to coming back soon!
